Enterprises in Uzbekistan will be rewarded for reducing harm to nature

It is clarified that at the first stage the enterprise needs to install a background monitoring station for atmospheric air pollution. If this condition is met, the debt on compensation payments for negative impacts on the environment will be written off, as well as the return of 50% of the compensation payments transferred to the republican budget within two years.

At the second stage, the enterprise that installed the monitoring station must, over the next year, equip its production with dust and gas treatment plants and (or) local wastewater treatment facilities. If these conditions are met, 70% of payments for negative environmental impacts sent to the republican budget are returned within two years.

The notification and attached documents are considered within no more than 15 working days from the date of their receipt. Based on the results, a conclusion on the provision of incentives is drawn up.
