Cross-linked polyethylene pipes and fittings for AquaTherm Tashkent 2024!
The PE-Xa axial system from the Rosterm plant is an ideal solution for heating systems that meets European quality requirements. It is based on cross-linked polyethylene pipes of the PE-Xa type and fittings with a sliding sleeve.
•PE-Xa cross-linked polyethylene (as opposed to PE low-density polyethylene) can be used in heating and water supply systems at temperatures above 40ºC.
• Cross-linking allows the material to withstand temperatures up to 100°C in emergency conditions.
• Cross-linked polyethylene is very flexible, making it easy to install. It is able to take shape, making it easy to install pipelines in hard-to-reach places.
PE-Xa pipe has molecular memory. This property allows installation, without the use of fittings, on long and winding sections, and increases the overall reliability of the laid route. In cases where a pipe breaks during installation, it is enough to heat it with a hairdryer so that the pipe takes its original shape without changing the physical and chemical properties of the material.
The advantages of the PE-Xa pipe also include the following:
• no risk of corrosion;
• light weight, which makes transportation as convenient as possible;
• high wear resistance;
• exceptional durability during practical use.
All this makes them an ideal choice for installation in various rooms.
Axial fittings and ferrule fittings are used to connect the pipe. As a result, the connection is sealed and can be used in screeds and monoliths.
Today, the Rosterm plant is the only Russian manufacturer of the PE-Xa axial system, where PE-Xa pipes and PPSU/PVDF fittings for heating systems are produced at one site. Rosterm produces two lines of fittings: axial and Light compression fittings.
Fittings for PE-Xa.
PPSU fittings are made of a special polymer - polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), and sleeves are made of PVDF. Connections made from PPSU and PVDF are characterised by high impact strength, resistance to high temperatures (up to +170°C) and exposure to aggressive environments. Therefore, PPSU/PVDF fittings from the Rosterm plant have become one of the alternatives to brass fittings. Since the installation of fittings and sleeves provides a reliable sealed connection, this makes it possible to use them in a monolith and screed.
